Introducing Faison, a 10-month-old Belgian Malinois mix (estimated birth date 3/10/24) who currently weighs about 60 pounds. She arrived as a stray and has not been claimed. We would expect her to get up to about 70-80 pounds when full grown.

Faison can be shy when first meeting new people, and will crawl toward you on her belly to show she means you no harm (and that she hopes you return the sentiment); she enjoys playing with her new dog friends Zella and Shelby.

Faison will bark when new people enter "her" space, then warms up quickly and wants to be close and crawl into your lap.

Unfortunately, she seems to think cats are animated squeaky toys and would love nothing more than to chase them and make them squeak - so no cats for Faison, please.

Preference given to applicants with Malinois and/or Shepherd experience.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Faison is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
