Introducing Rogue

Rogue is a lovely 32-pound Australian shepherd mix (maybe some Kelpie in there?) who is about 2 years old. She transferred in from a neighboring county rescue, along with her pups (the Amphibian Litter). Now the pups are weaned and have found their adopters, and it's Rogue's turn for a home of her own!

This cheerful and affectionate girl does sometimes jump up for attention, but she does it with the gentlest paws, awwwww. We think once she has her own family, routine, and regular daily exercise, her excitement will calm down a bit and the jumping up will improve.

She is housetrained, and is a smart girl who will want to learn everything you want to teach her. Rogue views cats and small furries as EXTREMELY fun animated squeaky toys, so we recommend no small furries in her family. We haven't been able to evaluate her with other dogs since she has that "protective puppy mama" thing right now, but she's good with her pups and great with all the people she meets (and she lets all of us interact with the pups just fine - she simply doesn't want the other shelter dogs with them, which we understand).

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Rogue is a suggested minimum of $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
