Introducing the Chess Litter of fantabulous puppies! These cuties, a mix of Labrador Retriever, Australian Shepherd, and who-knows-what (there may be a little dash of husky in there somewhere), were born 5/15/26 and will be ready to head home on 7/31.

They are fun, frisky, affectionate pups who will be great dogs for active families.

This litter includes (with weight as of 7/20):

BISHOP - male, white toes, white under chin and on chest, slightly fluffy, 11.8#

KNIGHT - male, tricolor, brown on legs and a hint of brown eyebrows, fluffy, 11.2#

ROOK - male, grey feet, lots of grey on chest, fluffy, 9.2# SMALLEST

QUEEN - female, white on chest, black front feet, fluffy, 11#

PAWN - male, small white stripe on chest, black toes, shortest fur, 13.2# BIGGEST

Based on their current age and size, we can guess that they will end up being between 50-75 pounds when full-grown... but that is just a guess! We can guarantee that they will end up being GREAT DOGGOS!

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. They hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet, and will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Bishop is a suggested minimum of $175 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
