Introducing Cascade

This adorable fluffball was born 8/17/25 to mama Lolo (also up for adoption - see her photo in this listing). Sadly, his mother was abandoned with her puppies, and Cascade is the only pup that survived.

He clearly had some sort of Very Fuzzy Dad (also, a big papa)! Everyone says he looks like a Leonberger, but it will take a DNA test to find out what's really behind that beautiful black mask.

Mama was unable to feed this baby due to her malnourishment, so he joined a fabulous foster home when he was just a few weeks old, and has been very well socialized with people and other dogs.

He won't be ready to go home until the second week of November, so we haven't gotten his full set of photos/video just yet - but he's too cute not to share, so here he is! Look for website updates in mid-October.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. Cascade's ideal home will have someone who can exercise him with a couple of energetic walks each day, plus commitment to training him how to be the best dog he can be. He hopes to have very few hours per day without the companionship of a human or other pet, and will reward his forever people with boundless love and loyalty!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Cascade is a suggested minimum of $175 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
