Looking for a best friend who’s equal parts lovebug, goofball, and parkour pro? Meet Miles- a wiggly, heart-on-his-sleeve sweetheart who loves to snuggle.

This sweet boy lives for one thing: being with YOU. He’ll melt into your side, steal your spot on the couch, and listen patiently to your trials and tribulations.

Miles is as smart as he is snuggly, he knows sit and shake (“paw”), and he’s got mad parkour skills (we’re talking fence jumping level talents, so a secure fence is a must if he is left outside unsupervised - if you're out there with him, he's not going anywhere else).

His appetite is bigger than his giant heart, so he’s currently being fed limited portions 3 times a day, from an elevated slow feeder, to keep him healthy and happy.

He's estimated to be between 3-5 years old and enjoys playing and wrestling with his shelter dog friends (the ones that enjoy Miles' enthusiastic play style). The only area where Miles did not receive an A+ on his evaluations is: cat relations. Miles and kitties (or, really, any small furry living squeaky toy) do not mix.

He's housetrained and weighs roughly 65 pounds, and appears to be an American Bulldog mix (but if you do a DNA test, let us know the truth!).

Miles doesn't understand why he's been waiting for six months at the shelter for his new forever family to find him. He doesn't understand the concept of "breed discrimination" or "landlord rules" - he just knows people come, people go, they sometimes take a dog with them to be their new best friend, and his turn MUST be coming soon!

Whether you’re looking for a couch buddy, a hiking sidekick, or a personal stand up comedian, Miles is your guy. He’s loyal, hilarious, and ready to give his whole heart to his forever family.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Miles is a suggested minimum of $150 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
