Introducing Pinto

This adorable boy, born 8/15/23, arrived quite shy and has expanded his confidence with the help of a loving temporary foster home. He has developed a love of play and gets along well with other cats. Although Pinto will likely feel shy around new people to start, we expect him to adjust quickly as he did in his foster home. He is now living at the shelter and getting used to having new people to meet - once he gets used to a stranger, he is so happy to have love and attention.

He has never met dogs so would need a slow introduction to a cat-friendly dog in the family; with proper introduction, most cats will learn to accept a calm and respectful dog over time.

Pinto would prefer a calm, zen-like home environment. No toddler birthday parties for this shy guy, please!

There's nothing like the great feeling when your shy adoptee first jumps up on your bed for a snuggle!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Pinto is a suggested minimum of SHY CAT SPECIAL $20 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
