Introducing Mantis, a friendly but shy guy who arrived as part of a semi-feral colony on which we were doing Trap-Neuter-Return. He's far too nice to send back out to fend for himself in his original colony; we decided he deserves to learn what being part of a family is all about.

Shy kitties take a little longer to settle in to their families, but the wait is worth it. Do you have enough cat-whisperer in you to help Mantis find his confidence?

Judging from the results many of our prior shy-cat adopters have achieved, these shy kitties often become the most devoted and affectionate family members when allowed to blossom at their own rates.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Mantis is a suggested minimum of SHY CAT SPECIAL $20 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
