Chessie is a handsome and unique boy, about 2 years old, who arrived as an owner surrender when his peoples' health wouldn't allow them to care for him any longer. They had only had Chessie for a couple of months before bringing him to us, so he is still looking forward to having his first REAL long-term home.

Chessie is very sweet and loves attention. He always wants to be where people are and loves to be petted and brushed. He is playful and good with other cats. Chessie has not yet been tested with dogs, but we'll be sure to do so if you have a cat-friendly doggo!

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Chessie is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
