Introducing Ahoskie. This charming guy arrived as a stray, and is probably somewhere between 3-6 years old - it's so hard to tell age with adult strays. We are listing him at the older end of that range; if he turns out to be younger, then YAY that is extra time with this fabulous friend!

He has captured the hearts of all the staff and volunteers with his laid-back affectionate lap-cat ways. He gets along well with the other cats in his room, he isn't frightened of dogs (though doesn't actively seek them out), and he is litterbox trained, treat motivated, very affectionate, loves to snuggle on laps and enjoys being brushed.

I bet you can just see yourself snuggled up with this cuddly guy in front of a fire, or binge-watching your favorite Netflix series. He can see that, too, and looks forward to you inviting him home.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Ahoskie is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
