Padme - BARN CAT TJT03

DOB 6/3/2026  ·  Adoptable  ·  DONATION OPTIONAL

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application. Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.

Our younger BARN CAT candidates come from feral colonies on which we did Trap-Neuter-Return, when the property owner can't manage all the cats being returned.

These juveniles are potentially able to be socialized - but a shelter setting is not the place for that. If you would like to make them indoor family members and have the time and patience to work with them, you could very well end up with a best friend or two! (I tamed a totally feral adult male cat to the point he slept under the covers with me, BUT it took nearly a year).

Alternately, these juveniles would appreciate a barn or working home where they receive regular food and water, heat in the cold months, cool in the hot months, and a safe structure to call home. For barn cat placements, we recommend bring home at least two so they have a buddy and more of a reason to stick around. Our barn cat coordinator will contact you to discuss the process of acclimating new barn kitties, prior to placement.

We can send barn cats out on our regular Monroe transports.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Padme - BARN CAT is a suggested minimum of DONATION OPTIONAL (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
