Meet Cheetos, a handsome short-haired male tabby and white born on March 20, 2025, who carries the long-suffering air of a kitty who simply accepts his fate with a quiet sigh. While he sometimes acts as if he’s prepared for the worst, he is actually starting to come out of his shell and shows a clear preference for the ladies, warming up to them almost immediately. He tends to be a bit more shy around men, but with a patient hand, he is learning that the world isn't so scary after all. Interestingly, Cheetos is a bit of a social learner; he "takes the hint" from more affectionate kitties and finds the motivation to seek out snuggles once he sees his friends getting pets.

Because the frenetic activity of other cats often makes him hang back, he can be a challenge to catch on video, but his quiet nature is part of his charm. In his clips, you can see him tolerating his grooming sessions and even starting to enjoy skritches, & has recently developed a love for laser pointers, though his flight response remains on a hair-trigger for now. He will likely always be a more independent, quiet soul rather than an outgoing socialite, and he truly just wants a place to call his own where he can be left alone until he decides he’s ready for attention.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Cheetos is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
