Meet Gretel! This sweet 9-year-old orange tabby girl came to us when her owner could no longer care for her, and she is ready to leave her storybook beginnings behind for a cozy home of her very own. Weighing in at just a hair over 4.5 lbs, she may be a pint-sized princess, but she has a heart full of love to give!

Gretel can be a little shy at first meeting, but don't worry—a trail of tasty treats is the absolute secret to winning over this gentle girl! Once she knows and trusts you, her sweet personality truly shines. She craves affection and will happily soak up every pet and chin scratch you have to offer.

She gets along wonderfully with other cats and takes a politely distant approach to dogs—she isn't afraid of them, but she considers them far too unrefined for her royal circle and prefers to simply glide past them.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Gretel is a suggested minimum of $45 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
