Meet War Paint, a gorgeous two year old lady with a heart of gold, a dash of mystery, and just enough sassy tortitude to keep life delightful.

War Paint originally arrived with three sweet kittens in tow after her previous owner passed away. When she first came to us, she was a quiet, introverted soul who preferred hiding out in cozy cubbies or tucked under warm blankets. Even in her shyest moments, she was always happy to accept gentle pets, and now that she is settling in, her lovely personality is fully coming out to play.

Her absolute favorite spot is out on the cat porch, tucked snugly inside her trusty red tube. From her colorful vantage point, she spends hours happily scanning the yard for birds, bugs, and fluttering leaves. She loves coming out to ask for pets and share sweet purrs, but like any true feline royal, she knows how to set boundaries. If she has had her fill of affection, she will give you a spirited, sassy little reminder that the petting session is officially adjourned.

She gets along nicely with other cats, but she is big on personal space and appreciates having a quiet domain of her own where she can relax mostly unbothered. With her calm, independent nature, she should also live peacefully alongside a respectful dog who honors her boundaries.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for War Paint is a suggested minimum of $60 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
