Introducing Lexie

This senior girl, used to an indoor-outdoor lifestyle, arrived at the shelter when her lifelong people had to move away without her.

Lexie has been hanging out with us at the shelter for a little while now, and we have loved watching her sweet, adaptable personality blossom and shine!

This lovely girl is a total sweetheart who is always the first to greet you at the door, ready to welcome you with open paws and gentle affection. She has proven to be a fantastic roommate, getting along wonderfully with her feline friends in her room.

We recently tried another dog introduction with her, and Lexi handled it with total poise! She simply, politely avoided contact—no fuss, no drama, just a calm and collective "no thank you."

Lexi has a delightfully calm aura and is extremely adaptable. She would bloom into the absolute best companion in a relaxed home looking for a gentle, sweet, and welcoming best friend.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Lexie is a suggested minimum of $45 or SENIOR FOR SENIOR (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
