Are you looking for a cat who doesn't just receive love, but gives it back tenfold? Meet Emory, our 4-year-old "Black Beauty" who is ready to be your personal grooming assistant. Emory is the definition of a "people person." If you tap the table and call her, she doesn’t just look at you—she comes right out for a petting session! And once she starts purring, the "spa treatment" begins. Emory is a "Licker and a Drooler" (in the most endearing way possible), meaning she loves to show her affection by licking your hands and "grooming" you right back. This girl was born to love, finding a friend in anyone she meets. She gets along with not only humans, but cats and dogs also.

Don't mind her odd looking jammies - when Emory arrived, her beautiful long fur was so badly matted down to the skin that her only option was a full lion cut. She feels SOOO much better now, and promises to be back to her beautiful flowing locks soon. All she asks is a few minutes of daily brushing from her new family, to help her avoid the PAJAMAS OF SHAME look in the future.

Emory is all about the “Costco life”. She and her best buddy, Eden, spend most days enjoying the “Kitty Costco Warehouse” seen in their photos. Both can usually be found hard at work relaxing inside. They did come in from the same home, so have known each other for a while now.

While Emory would make a great addition to any family on her own, she and Eden are the ultimate warehouse roommates. If you have room for a pair of kitties and have a double sized Costco box at home, they would love to fill it together (though pair adoption is NOT required).

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Emory is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
