Looking for a guy who knows how to work a room? Meet our resident charmer! At just a year old, he has officially decided that the "Indoor Life" is for him, in a home where the best chin scratches are available in excess.

He is a certified flirt—he’ll roll over to show you his belly, rub against your legs, and use every trick in the book to get your attention. He’s all about the love, just on his own terms: he prefers to keep his paws on the floor (or a high shelf!) rather than being picked up. While he will allow you to pick him up it is clear it is not his comfort zone.

His ideal home would include a tall cat tree, or cleared off bookshelf, safe access to outside or a good view to enjoy watching “cat tv” through a window to outside. He is friendly with other cats and loves to play with a wand toy. He would also tolerate a “respectful” dog and may learn to be friends once he is confident he can trust them.

While Chandler is a star in his own right, he happens to have a brother, Crockett, here at the shelter who is just as friendly and playful. If you’re looking to start an instant “Dynamic Duo”, they make a great pair, but he’s also happy to be your one and only.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Chandler is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
