Meet Izzy, a stunning 2 ½ year old cat with a very fluffy coat and beautiful golden eyes that will instantly capture your heart.

She weighs a chonky but healthy 14 pounds and absolutely loves attention; Izzy thrives when she's getting plenty of affection and pets.

Izzy gets along well with cats and is okay with dogs, though she can be a little scared of them initially—so a slow, gentle introduction would help her feel more comfortable. We don't have details on how she interacts with children, but her sweet nature indicates she should do just fine with them.

Her luxurious fluffy coat is one of her best features, and she'll need regular brushing to keep it looking its best and to prevent mats. She can also be a bit picky when it comes to toys, so finding just the right ones to keep her entertained might take a little trial and error. We are still in the TRIAL part of that equation.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Izzy is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
