CoalĀ C2389

4 months old  ·  Adopted

Considering adopting? The first step is to complete our online Adoption Application. Please do not call the shelter; do the application first.

Coal and his siblings were VERY lucky to have been found in an old shed by a firefighter team working on the Katy Fire in Ferry County. Their outcome could have been much different, but they were brought to Forget Me Not and now get to find forever homes! Coal, born 7/4/25, is the last of the group still waiting for his people to find him. He is friendly, playful, cuddly, and super thankful to be alive. We are so grateful for the kindness of the fire crew!

If you want a kitty that's all about those snuggles, Coal can't wait to volunteer for the position! If you want a pair, just let us know - Coal loves all the kitties he has met at the shelter, so we're confident we can find your purrrrfect pair.

We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Coal is a suggested minimum of $75 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
