Bonnie 1635

2 years old · Adopted

Bonnie came to Forget Me Not to find a home that is a better fit for her high energy level; her former person loved her, but just couldn't keep up with her exercise needs. Bonnie is a boxer/heeler mix, born 8/5/20, who currently weighs 73 pounds.

She is housetrained, knows a few commands (and would benefit from additional training with her new person), and loves going for walks, gnawing a tasty bone, chasing balls, and collecting squeaky toys. She is fine with other dogs outside the home (as you can see in her video), but prefers to not share her person (or toys or bones) with another dog in the home. Bonnie considers cats to be animated squeaky toys, so must not live with kitties.

Bonnie will bark to alert you of visitors, and then will overwhelm them with love once they see they are your friends and are welcome - she's such a good girl.

She has a heart full of love and a real joy about her when she is playing. You can see in the video, when she is playing tug with her best friend Penny, she is gentle and accommodating even though Penny is half her weight. Bonnie is going to be an exceptional companion for the right person, who has the time and patience to give her the exercise she needs and to give her a loving and secure place to call home.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Bonnie is a suggested minimum of $30 FEE SPECIAL! (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
