Introducing Florence

This sweet and playful girl, estimated to be around 5 years old, arrived as a stray and was never claimed.

She's currently living in a foster home with two other adoptable cats, but would really prefer to be the only cat in her family.

Florence loves attention and will likely want to sleep on her person's bed with them. She adores a good wand toy or feather toy, and is overall a pretty easy cat who should fit in quickly with pretty much any type of family.

If you would love to have just one cat to bond with, a furry companion for the upcoming winter nights, and crave the healing power of purrrrrrrrs, Florence would be a terrific choice. If you have a cat-friendly dog, we'll be happy to see if Florence feels more friendly toward dogs than she does toward other cats (there are no dogs in her foster home).

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Florence is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to the Seattle area, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
