Remi is a 42 pound, 8 year old female looking for her new home. She was brought to us by an owner who could no longer care for her. Remi's previous owners did not know her breed, but she appears to be a border collie mixed with maybe an Australian shepherd.
Remi might just be the kindest dog a person has ever met. She takes treats gently , loves to snuggle, and is fully potty trained. She is looking for an equally kind and calm human to help her feel secure. She is not a dog who needs a highly active family. She would do best with older gentle children if any. She gets along with other dogs and cats, but wouldn't love living with a hyper dog. She would be very happy with a quaint yard and a comfy couch where she can relax and live a peaceful life with her companion. Nothing would make her happier than having a person to eat breakfast and dinner with daily as they plan out or recap their day. She loves to go for car rides so would would make an excellent travel partner. Remi does have some anxiety with a lot of commotion, this is seen purely through her shivering which tends to calm once you sit with and hold her.
Remi may be a senior, but according to the vet she is great health!
If you're looking for a calm and quiet companion to spend you days with, Remi is the girl for you!
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Remi is a suggested minimum of $50 (more gratefully accepted), or Senior for Senior - adopters over 65 may name their own adoption fee. All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
