Oogway 1298

Oogway is a happy, exuberant, 50 lb Black Mouth Cur mix born 7/14/18. He came to us as an owner surrender because he was chasing livestock and causing a general ruckus on the ranch. He has adjusted well to shelter life and seems to love everyone he meets.

Oogway is great with older respectful children, ok with other dogs but not good with cats so will need a cat free home. He knows how to sit, fetch, and is learning how to walk on a leash. Oogway loves squeaky toys, playing fetch (so long as there isn’t a squeaky toy around), and going for walks. He is a good pup who needs a bit of direction to help him be the very best dog he can be. He is smart and wants to please and enjoys being with humans.

Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. Oogway’s ideal home will have someone who can exercise him with a couple of energetic (if fairly short) walks each day, plus a commitment to training him how to be the best dog he can be. He hopes to have very few hours per day when he will be without the companionship of a human or other pet. If this sounds like your ideal dog, Oogway will reward you with a lifetime of companionship and loyalty.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Oogway is suggested minimum $95 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
