Mila is a smart, friendly, and gentle (even when roughhousing) female pointer mix, born about 10-1-2017. She is a wonderful girl who is looking for a family of her own where she can be part of the daily activities. Mia was brought to us when her new family discovered that she chases horses and decided they could not keep her, so a home without livestock is required. She seems to get along well with other dogs and cats, though she may need a reminder to respect the cat's space. She responds well when corrected, is eager to please, and loves to hang out and cuddle with the staff on the office couch. She enjoys being outside, is playful and active, and likes a good game of fetch. She is house trained. Mila is good with all of our staff and volunteers, and respectful children. She weighs approximately 65 pounds although she is a bit thin and will probably settle in to about the 70 pound range. If you have room in your life for a really cool responsive dog Mila just might be the gal for you.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. The adoption fee for Mila is suggested minimum $95 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
