Introducing the Music Litter pups - these cuties were born 1/27/19 to a beautiful friendly young stray who showed up on a rural resident's property. The family decided to keep her after she was not claimed, and contacted us when they realized she was pregnant.
These pups were taken in under our Stop The Cycle program and were raised (fostered) indoors at the owner’s home. The mother, Mia, appears to be a shepherd mix of about 45 to 50 pounds. She can be seen in the video tending to her pups and seems to be a dedicated mother who has done a wonderful job teaching them all things dog. She has enjoyed “child care support” from auntie Anna, the other female in the video. The father’s breed is unknown. All puppies are ready to go home after 3/30/19. This is the mother:
Here are their names and descriptions:
1279, F - Lyra - Red collar: Playful but more shy and uncertain. Part of the pack but nervous to new situations.
1280, F - Arietta - Gray collar: Quiet, potties on paper, curious
1282, F - Demi - Green collar: Rambunctious, explorative
1283, M - Bene - Yellow blue reflective collar: Wild and crazy
1287, F - Cappella - Blue collar: Snuggly
Puppies require a lot of human interaction, and all puppies will benefit from obedience training and full immersion in their human household. These pups' ideal homes will have someone who can exercise them with a couple of energetic (if fairly short) walks each day, plus commitment to training them how to be the best dogs they can be. These pups hope to have very few hours per day when they will be without the companionship of a human or other pet. They will reward their forever people with boundless love and loyalty!
Here's a video of this litter taken on 3/21/19:
All puppies arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $125 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
