Introducing the Big Cats litter. These kittens, born 9-10-17, were part of a TNR (trap-neuter-return) feral colony that we were working on last fall. The owner of the colony couldn't take these kittens back, so we prepared them for life as barn cats on a new property once the weather improved. To our surprise (and with a lot of love and patience from the volunteers), these little guys came around very well, and have now decided that people give the best back scratches and ear/chin rubs imaginable. That means they have the chance to move up in life, to real homes!
They would do fine as indoor only, or indoor/outdoor cats, as they do have a few street smarts from being outside with the rest of the colony when they were little. They are used to other cats coming and going as room mates, so they should be fine with another cat(s) they don't know, it just takes an adjustment period. They love to play with the wand toy and would make great hunters. Regarding cat friendly dogs, they responded with indifference when exposed, so a home with other cats and dogs should be fine for these charming young ones.
These kittens showed their hearts are full of love, and now are getting a second chance at a great life with new families! Please consider these little guys, formerly feral kittens can be awesome!
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; these kittens will have received three multi-way kitten vaccinations plus rabies vaccination. Adoption fee for these kittens is suggested minimum $50 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
