Tinkerbell JF30

Tinkerbell is a domestic short hair female whose date of birth is estimated to be April 1st 2017. She was brought into the shelter as part of a feral colony. She was born with a congenital defect with dermoid cysts on the inside of her eyelids. She had surgery on June 12th and has made a remarkable recovery. She does still have a few eyelashes growing down from the outside corners of both eyelids, however they are not touching the cornea, are not expected to continue growing, and do not seem to bother her. She is still getting a daily eye ointment and is recommended to have a vet check 4-6 months from her last visit (end of June).

Tinkerbell has never allowed her eye problems to affect her loving personality. She is a sweet girl who desires human affection. She wants to be held, snuggled and just to be in the same area with people. Despite her poor sight, which seems to have been improved with surgery, she loves to chase balls and play with wand toys. She enjoys the company of other cats, dogs and children. Because of her limited vision, Tinkerbell will need to go to an inside only home.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Tinkerbell is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
