Peaches JF-31

Peaches arrived as part of a multi-cat rescue from a moderate hoarding situation. She is a lovely and affectionate dilute calico long-haired girl, about 3 years old, who enjoys being petted and brushed.

Although her prior experience has left her not sure of humans or how best to interact with them, physically the only medical issues she came in with were an ear infection which has been treated with Animax ointment, and an eye condition called distichiasis, for which she will be visiting a specialist animal eye clinic soon. You can read more about distichiasis here: https://www.northwestanimaleye.com/distichiasis.pml

If the specialist determines she will need surgery for the condition, we will take care of that prior to placement with funds from our Shadow's Fund for Extraordinary Medical Expenses.

Peaches will do fine with other cats, as she is quite used to them. Dogs are a big question mark for her right now - we're not sure if she has ever even seen a dog, but will dog test her for you if you have a dog in the family.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our transport expenses, that would be great!
