Cheetah JA04

Introducing the Wild Cats, consisting of 3 differently aged litters of friendly kittens from a feral colony on which we are doing Trap/Neuter/Release. These kittens are so lucky that a teenager in the home on whose property the colony is living took these babies under his wing and socialized them, so they all get to become beloved family members instead of having to be returned to their colony.

They were used to going outside so will have at least some street-smarts to help protect them from predators, cars, and strangers, in case you would like an indoor-outdoor friend. Otherwise, all will adapt well as indoor-only cats given enough perches, toys, and cuddles. We don't think they have ever see a dog, but most should adapt to friendly dogs if given enough time for slow introductions. They are, of course, used to other cats!

The youngest group, born about 8/7/20, are all grey medium-haired tabbies (adoption fee $65):

JA09 - Panther - Female - pink collar
JA10 - Leopard - Male - blaze on face and white feet
JA11 - Ocelot - Male - blue collar

Our next littermates were born about 7/17/20 (adoption fee $65):

JA07 - Cougar - Male - solid grey, blue collar
JA08 - Bobcat - Female - solid grey, pink collar

Finally, our juveniles (who have a discounted adoption fee of $50 since they are older), born about 5/10/20:

JA02 - Tiger - Female - Solid grey, white collar
JA04 - Cheetah - Male - black & white, thin white stripe down nose, slightly cross-eyed
JA05 - Jaguar - Male - black & white, white chin and cheeks
JA06 - Puma - Male - black & white, very thin white mustache, black chin

They are ready to join a real family, where they promise to bring all the purrs and love after a few days of adjustment to STRANGENESS - not that YOU are strange, or your home, that's not what I'm saying, unless you ARE strange, which is great - cats like unique humans - but cats are notoriously slow at accepting situations, people, and places that are strange TO THEM. So, once they get used to you (no matter how strange you are), they will be delighted to be your new best friends.

We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."

All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee is suggested age-dependent minimum $65 or $50 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our transport expenses, that would be great!
