Bellevue C1574

You can't really tell right now, but Bellevue is a very handsome medium-to-long-haired buff tabby boy, approximately 2 years old. He arrived as a very stinky, dirty, matted stray and required shearing to get that horribly snarled fur off him. His fur is already starting to grow back in, right now he looks like a fuzzy little lamb but he will be back to his beautiful, regal self in a few months.

As you can see in the video, Bellevue ADORES children. In fact, the photographer was having no luck getting him to interact with her adult self, but when she sat a child down in the room, Bellevue was all over that! He would love to find a family with a child or two to snuggle. He has been good with other cats that he's met at the shelter, and would prefer a dog-free home. He would be a fine indoor only or indoor/outdoor cat, but is definitely going to want to sleep on someone's bed every night. (It is, of course, always safer to keep cats indoors - for both the cat, and the birds outside).

Bellevue will be an easy keeper for anyone who can give him lots of loving attention, with a short daily brushing to keep his fabulous coat in fine condition (he would prefer not having to go through this sort of bad hair month again).

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.

Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our transport expenses, that would be great!
