Introducing the Precipitation Litter. This terrific tabby trio was born at the shelter on 8/6/2020, and all have been well socialized by the staff and volunteers. After weaning, Mama kitty was spayed and returned under our Stop the Cycle program, and now the babies are ready to find their forever homes.
C1506 - Rain - Male - Rain is the bold, adventuresome type. He sees a toy and thinks "It's moving! I will attack!"
C1507 - Mist - Female - Red collar - Mist is just about as brave as Rain. She sees a toy and thinks "It's moving! I will pounce!"
C1508 - Drizzle - Female - Drizzle is the deep thinker of the group. She sees a toy and thinks "It's moving! I will wait to see if it eats one of my silly siblings."
These cuties will adapt quickly to pretty much any sort of indoor home, and should adjust well to dogs or other cats, and all humans. They are completely unfamiliar with "outside" and will be happiest and safest as pampered house kitties. In return, they promise to help you laugh through these challenging times, and will also lie on your chest and purr if you are having a sad day. Who can resist?
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $65 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our transport expenses, that would be great!
