Lee-Lou is a fabulous domestic short haired tabby and white female born 7-19-19. Lee-Lou ended up at the shelter because she had too much energy and no playmate to share it with. In her prior home, Lee-Lou suffered from single kitten syndrome and needed another similarly aged kitten to help her with social cues.
Here at the shelter we have paired her with kittens in her age group and she loves life! The ideal home for Lee-Lou would be an inside only home with a similarly aged kitten for her to play with. We'll be happy to recommend a friend for her, if you do not already have a similarly aged kitten in the family - you can see her with one of her friends, Jay, in the video. Lee-Lou would not do well with an older cat who wanted to be left alone. She does get along with all people and dogs.
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies."
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $65 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
