Groot C1299

Introducing the Guardians of the Galaxy litter; long-haired domestic kittens born 2/11/19. These precious little kittens and their mom, Gracie, were brought to us when their owner could no longer care for them. The kittens were a bit shy initially but are starting to come around with our volunteers hard at work socializing them. The previous owner believes the father is a Manx/Siamese mix who hung out around the neighborhood. The kittens all have odd tails that are either abnormally short and/or kinked. All four of these black and grey kittens are males.

Groot - C1299 - White Collar - Has the most grey of the kittens. Also has the most normal tail though it is slightly shorter than normal. Very friendly and sweet. Most playful and explorative. First to engage.
Rocket - C1300 - Blue Collar - Very defined zig zag tail. Playful and curious. Second to engage.
Drax - C1301 - Orange Giraffe collar - Has a weird tiny kink in tip of tail. Curious yet stands back a bit before engaging.
Ronan - C1302 - Red Collar - Short tail with lump in the middle. Most reserved of the litter towards people yet with a little encouragement will engage and be playful. Loves to play with siblings.

We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies.”

All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $65 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
