Goliath is a large, solid, beautiful 6-year-old black domestic short hair male who came to us as an owner surrender when his owner moved into housing that did not allow pets. Goliath is used to an indoor/outdoor country life, with an indoor sleeping arrangement. He is litter-box trained. His previous owner indicated he is a good mouser, a really nice cat, and an easy keeper. He gets along with other non aggressive cats, respectful children and dogs.
Goliath loves lounging on the couch with his human companion and periodic naps through out the day. He likes to hide in cubbies but comes out searching for attention when he sees his favorite humans enter the room. He is curious about toys but hasn’t been playful so far, preferring lap time to play time. This may change as he gets more comfortable with his environment. He can often be seen looking out the window or hanging out on the porch of his Meow Manor here at the shelter.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Goliath is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
