Hunter C1295

Hunter arrived as an owner surrender because he liked to dominate the other cats in the home. The owner indicated he is a Maine Coon cat who was born 3/5/16. He has been an indoor cat his whole life, although here at the shelter he loves his outdoor time and can often be seen enjoying the air while watching the antics of young dogs as they romp in the yard by his screened porch. Reportedly he is dog selective (he will bat at them if he doesn’t like them). Since Hunter likes to be top cat in the home his ideal placement will be as an only kitty, or with other docile cats. He currently shares his Meow Manor with two other girls harmoniously. Since he hasn’t been allowed to roam outdoors he most likely will not have the skills to survive in that type of setting. He likes respectful children.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Hunter is a suggested minimum of $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
