Introducing the Power Puff Litter, born 11/17/18. These cuties came to us with their mom, Echo, after they were found abandoned with a couple of dogs at a vacant house when the new owners arrived. It appears they had been there several days after the previous tenant moved and left them all behind to fend for themselves. Despite the rough start these little ones are doing well and responding to volunteers efforts to renew their faith in humans. They will be ready for adoption after 1/25/19. Because these kittens were living outside when found and Echo was able to teach them some street smarts their ideal placement will be as indoor only, or indoor/outdoor cats in a country setting (they may not know enough to do well in an urban setting as outdoor cats).
C1280 Buttercup - Female - Buttercup, a mostly white calico, is a curious little girl who loves to explore. She has unusual coloring and a beautiful sprinkling of calico color down her white back. She seems to be the runt of the litter but that doesn’t stop her, HA!
C1281 Blossom - Female - Blossom, a calico, is a bit shy yet and has a “deer in the headlights” look about her but she is coming around and responds well to our volunteers. She has half calico and half gray tabby coloring on her head.
C1282 Bubbles - Female - Bubbles, a calico, is a friendly curious girl who keeps tabs on everything going on in the room. She has the most orange on her head and her front legs and chest are all white.
C1283 Utonium - Male - Utonium is the only male of the litter. He is a gray and white tabby that is very affectionate and playful with his sisters. He has a distinctive "target" on his sides and is considered a "target tabby."
We'd love to see all kittens go to homes that have another young, playful kitten, or to send 2 of them out as a pair (which gives you a great pair discount rate), but we do not require pair adoptions. If you prefer to adopt just one, and you don't have a similarly aged kitten at home already, please read our information on Single Kitten Syndrome. Then, when you apply for a single kitten, please let us know in the "Comments" field how you plan to deal with the "kitten crazies.”
All kittens arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and with all age-appropriate vaccinations; most will need one or two booster vaccinations after arrival, and rabies vaccination between 4-6 months of age. Adoption fee is suggested minimum $65 (more gratefully accepted). Discount available for pair adoptions! All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts.
Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
