Echo, a domestic short haired gray and white cat, is estimated to have been born on 6/8/17. She came to us along with her litter of 4 kittens when she and her babies and a couple of dogs were found abandoned at a vacant house when the new owners arrived. Echo is a bit on the thin side from having to fend for herself while nursing kittens, but she is coming around and is doing well. She is a really affectionate cat who loves to play and, based on her aggressive behavior with the wand mouse toy, we think she will make a fearsome mouser. She likes being held and cuddled, and should make someone a really great companion. We think the ideal home for Echo will be as an indoor/outdoor cat in a country setting, or as an indoor only cat in an urban setting. She is good with respectful dogs and other cats, as well as older children and adults. She will be ready for adoption after 1/11/19 when we anticipate her kittens will be fully weaned.
All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Echo is suggested minimum $40 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners. If you can add a little to your donation to help us cover our volunteer driver's expenses, that would be great!
