Cimarron C1150

Cimarron is a shy but curious fluffy male born approximately 8-28-17. He came to us as a stray with his brother and an older female who may have been his mother. We suspect the three had been dumped in the town park and wandered to the local hardware store where they attempted to take up residence. They were less than adept at measuring boards and mixing paint (dang that lack of opposable thumbs!), so were fired almost immediately. The very kind hardware store owner brought them to the shelter - aka the kitty unemployment office - and these kitties are now looking for new positions that are more within their thumbless talents.

This handsome young guy is a little shy but is coming around as he gets used to shelter life. He is frequently seen atop a perch looking out the window, sharing a bed with a buddy, or hanging out in one of the hammocks watching the antics of the other young cats in the room. He tolerates affection (especially head scratches), but currently prefers not to be held. While he does show interest in playing games with humans, he is still a bit reserved and will happily sit back letting others engage more fully.

Cimarron will do well as an indoor or indoor/outdoor cat (although is content to watch the snow from the comfort of his bed!). He seems to be cautious but mostly indifferent to cat friendly dogs. We believe, with a little patience, this gentle guy will provide you with lots of love and affection for years to come.

All pets arrive spayed/neutered, dewormed, microchipped and vaccinated. Adoption fee for Cimarron is suggested minimum $50 (more gratefully accepted). All pets are placed with a 30-day money-back trial period, to give pet and family enough time to discover any unknown allergies or other conflicts. Can't come to Republic? Don't let that stop you! We have monthly transports to both the Seattle area and Spokane, delivering adopted pets to their new owners.
