Could it be?  They are friends now.  He is doing great.  I will send more pics later.  He has mastered how to sit and stay.  He comes on command.  Learned to walk on a leash.  He is a great dog.  Thanks again for all.

2/12/14:

Things are going well.  Vader is getting better.  I think she realized that he is part of the family and he is not going anywhere.  She is slowing opening up to him.  While she is sleeping, he sneaks up to her and cuddles next to her.  When she realizes it is him, she gives up and lets him stay there.

He is developing his own bond with everyone in the house.  Mikey is big brother.  He listens to mikey and hangs out with him when I am gone.  Izzy is his playmate.  While the older kids are in school, they are playing together.  He used to be really rough with her.  The first week she had a lot of scratches and was crying because he was too rough.  He has calmed down and he is really gentle with her now.  They sometimes take naps together.  Him and the middle child like to play and pick on each other.  He likes to steal her dolls and her markers. He likes to take her stuff animals too.  He loves to cuddle with Alfie while he is waiting for me to come home.  The bond with Dooku and myself is reallys special. He is the family dog, but he has really became my dog.   When I am home, we are always hanging out.  One thing I really like, he leaves playing rough with me.  He doesn't nip or play rough with the kids, only with me.  My fingers is his favorite chew toy. I do notice his natural herding instinct. he likes to in the same room as him.   He loves his morning walks to drop the kids off at school.  He loves to run home, which is good for me.  Helps me get my heart rate going.    He is doing really well with house training.  There are times when he will tell us when it is time, but we have really been on top of his bathroom breaks.  Of course he does has his accidents.      He is really smart.  He comes by command, and he sits on command too.  We are trying to have him master those before teaching him more.   When feeding time comes, he used to be very vocal, we controlled that and now when it is feeding time, he has learned that he needs to sit and wait until we feed him.  He has also learned that when the food goes down, he cannot eat until we have told him do so.  He is not territorial at all.  He lets the kids take his treats, bones, and food from him without getting upset.  I can see the puppy and beagle side of him when it comes to food.  He is in love with food.  If we are cooking, he reminds me of my old beagle.  He sits next to us just watching and smelling the food.   We are so blessed to have him.

Everything has been great.  He is really adjusting to the family.  He is no longer called loganberry, his new name is Dooku.  We all love him except for our other dog.  It will take time.
