Update, Smootch is doing wonderful.  He hasn't had an issue with anything.  He hasn't been scolded or corrected for anything.  I can't believe what a well behaved dog he is.  I will post more pictures later.  We have been busy because I only had the one day off when he got here and I have had to work every day since.  I can't wait until the weekend (my weekend)My husband gets to spend all day with him so he is never alone.  We are getting our routine down.  In the morning, we get up and take both the dogs for a nice long walk.  Smootch is not used to traffic and he goes at his own pace.  Each day he is a little more comfortable and at ease but he like to stop and look at any people getting into cars or walking around.  At night he comes down to work and picks me up and then it's home to cuddle.  Truffy taught him how to get toys out of the toy box last night.  He's a fast learner too.  We have lots of nylabone toys and he really like to chew which surprised my because of his teeth. 

He is getting  lots of belly rubs and right now he is snuggled up close which is what he does when I get on my laptop.

Smootch is wonderful. He fits right in. The dogs get along great. We are going to go get his dog food at Big R right now so it will be his first car/van ride with Truffy. I already changed his Micro chip ID. He's a part of the family and we love him. Truffles likes him too. Thank you sooooooo much. I will keep you posted.
