1/3/14:
Mr. Simon is doing well. He is just such a doll. We are working on getting more comfortable with car rides. He loves the run at the trail once we get there - the whole being in the car thing makes him a wee bit nauseous. he is getting better though - it will just take time. He loves that people stop us to compliment how handsome he is.
He is not too sure about the camera either; we're working on that as well. He loved wearing his antlers. He had them on all Christmas day, even wore them on his walks.
We just adore him;)

Just wanted to give you all an update on Ace; now known as Simon.
He responded to his new name right away.
He walks very well on the leash and traveled well in the car..on my lap
The introduction to Polly and Gordon could not have gone better!!!
He's still a bit shy and I assume pretty tired and Polly can't understand why he's not rip, raring and ready to play. She's doing her best play-bows and giving him her cutest looks…..
He did run around in the dog yard with for a bit about an hour or two after arriving, but he’s still adjusting.
Polly got a little too pushy with him (nothing bad at all-she just wanted to play and he was nervous…) so Gordon stuck up for him and barked at Polly until she backed off.
That shocked us! We didn’t expect Gordon to be protective of him so quickly.
They both seem to really adore him.
He did let us know that his favorite sport is surfing…counter surfing that is! He wasn’t interested in eating his dinner-but the steaks we grilled were just too tempting. He takes a gentle correction very well- a firm “No-…off Simon!”… Once- is all we needed.
After his run around with Polly he fell asleep in my husband’s lap. He adores my husband. I’ve attached a photo.
