Just wanted to send an update on my little man, Rudy. It’s been just over six months since I have adopted him and I can easily say he has become the love of my life! Thought I’d send a couple pictures. As you can see, he doesn’t really appreciate the Halloween costume – poor thing looks absolutely mortified! The second pic shows his usual happy face. He still goes to ‘doggie daycare’ one day a week which he absolutely loves. Cries when we pull up to get out the car and can’t wait to go play with his friends. His self-confidence continues to grow as well. He chased a coyote about a week ago! Scared me to death! He loves his car rides, loves snuggling with mom at night, and I love seeing his happy little face when I come home. Thank you guys for letting me give this little boy his forever home!

Just thought I’d send a quick photo – my co-workers threw me a “baby” shower last Friday! Here’s my man Rudy and his great gifts he received.
He’s actually doing really well now when I leave for work. I come home at lunch and he knows now to stay pretty quiet until I let him out. Then he’s all KISSES, KISSES, KISSES!
I plan on coming over to Republic during Memorial Day weekend. Maybe we can stop by and say HI!
Thanks!!

Thought I’d send you a brief update on my new little man, Rudy. All I can say is I am in love, love, love!! He has been the sweetest boy! I thought he might be more timid with strangers, but so far everyone he meets he loves. He only seems to bark if we’re out walking and he hears a sudden noise or sees someone in the distance. As you can see he looks drastically different! I took him to a groomer and they said he had such a thick undercoat, it would be too stressful to attempt to brush him out so he got a new “naked” look for the summer. He actually seems to like it! He’ll be much easier to maintain once it grows out.
Potty training has been going well. Only two accidents in the house and I blame myself for that. Still working at a routine! Still working on leaving him while I go to work. He sure knows what his room and kennel are for and doesn’t appreciate it much when I leave him.
I’ve started a basic training/obedience class with him (more for me than for him – I think he’s perfect!) and will probably take him to doggy day care once a week so he can play/socialize with more pups and come home a tired boy.
I can’t thank you enough for letting me give Rudy a forever home! He will be very loved little boy!
