11/14/13:
Well, less than 24 hours in his new home and Fozzie seems to be doing well.
By the time we got back here it was after 9pm last night. He was scared about getting out, so we just let him sit in the jeep for a while and after a while went out and talked him into coming inside. Last night he camped out on the doormat just inside the door and basically wouldn't move, didn't want to eat, nothing.
This morning he was already feeling more confident, happy to see me this morning, wagging his tail, different expression on his face. As the day goes on he has taken to exploring a little more but still returns to his home base if he is unsure of something.
He's been outside in the backyard to explore and took him for a walk this afternoon...he was good on leash, didn't really pull but just doesn't seem to have much of a clue, but he also seems to learn quick. It's obvious he's a little more unsure of Finnegan than us, but he's been happy to lie down beside Finn and get his fur stroked.
Today he's been eating as well and I expect in the next few days he'll come out of his shell completely. He jumped up on Meghan a couple of times but seems to quickly get the message when you tell him "no!"
Very pleased with him and he seems to be warming to all of us quickly...doesn't like being left alone though. When I went out to the garage to tidy a few things and left him alone in the house, he quickly started barking, but settled when I poked my head back in to let him know I was still there. Ii expect he'll get over that pretty quickly once he realizes we're homebodies that don't go anywhere for long...so, there you go, the 24 hour update. Thanks again for all your help. We'll keep you posted!
