I just wanted to let you guys know that Avocet, now Scipio, is doing very well. He is now an indoor/outdoor kitty, spending most of his time outside with our male, Shruikan, who seems to love the little guy. He really is a character, I think being an only kitten agrees with him. We've tried to get him to be a mouser, but all he will do is play with them after Shruikan has caught and killed them.
