11/10/14:

Thank you yet again for Esther. She is a darling cat, albight she is an "A" personality cat ! We've managed to take in another cat that was wandering the neighborhood after his owners just moved out and left town. He is all black, short hair and has been named Traveler as that what he did before we took him in. He's been neutered, full blood workup, shots, etc. He and our two females are getting to know each other very slowly. The "girls" are not taking to him well. He's younger than they by around a year. Slow progress for the "new guy". Thank you again for bringing Esther into our lives. Your shelter is the best we've run across and pleased to help out a little so you can continue doing what you do so very well !

3/24/14:

Thank you for your dedication to rescue animals. Esther has brought so much joy into our lives. The girls Precious and Esther roam and play while Trapper the old man Watches his girls from the porch.

4/6/12:

Esther is growing up !  She is a bunch bigger than just two months ago !  Yes, there's a pic attached of her in her "2nd" home.  She is learning to ride the byways of America.  Just a little at a time though.  Have a harness for her and she doesn't like it all that much but with repitition we believe she will learn to like it, well enough to know it's time to go for a ride.

New addition to the household too.  That orange cat we so much wanted too.  Been here for two weeks today.  Found this one in Battleground at Second Chance Companions.  She, special in itself that she is a "she" not a he, being an orange tabby.  Just a few weeks older than Esther.  Just the opposite too.  Very shy and reserved, at least around humans.  She and Esther have "bonded" and now run the house chasin' each other.  They haven't gotten to the laying together yet but they lay close to each other on occasion.  Play like crazy they do, then take their cat naps, then play like crazy, then a cat nap, repeat all day long !  Our "old guy" Trapper takes them both in stride now.  Trapper is such a calm and gentle cat which we are so thankful for.  He has accommodated both the youngins' !

They both bring smiles and laughter to us both every day.  Thank you again !

3/7/12:

Esther is doing GREAT !!  She brings SO MUCH happiness to us both.  She is definitely growing and loves to play.  Working on the teaching part about what is acceptable to get up on in the house and what is not.  She is just an absolute sweetheart.  She has her own chair to lay in plus her cat tree.

Still looking for an orange tabby to provide her with a playmate and companion.  Found a possible one in Wenatchee that we submitted paperwork for adoption on just today.  Very nearly the same age as Esther.

More pics ?  Oh yeah, we've got more pics !

2/13/12

Our Dr. called us Friday afternoon and gave us the expected GREAT news about young Esther.  As far as the info blood testing can return she has normal kidney and liver functions, red and white blood cell counts are normal.  She's one healthy kitty !

Thank you so much again !  Sent a little money to your shelter to help in some small way as I said I would.

Now, you're going to get stuck with pictures of her !

She and Trapper continue to get acquainted with each other.  A lot of nose to nose with each other.  Slowly but surely they will be best buddies over time.  I anxiously await the two of them curled up with each other.  That will be another picture you will have to endure !
