8/7/13:

I just wanted to send an update on Daisy. She is doing so much better than last year. We have really worked hard with her and she has come along way. We just had a big party at our house and she did great. She still does not like random people coming up to her for pets. As long as people just leave her alone she is fine. She is very protective of the family which is great and loves our 3 kids so much and they love her as well :) Braxton and Daisy's relationship is better. They play together, lay down together, but she still wants Brax to know she is the boss LOL. But the situation has improved greatly. She knows she doesn't need to fight for food and she knows that they need to share toys etc...
Yesterday across the street she alerted me to a situation going on. She was growling a strange growl and looking out the window. I couldn't figure out what she was looking at. But them my 8 yr old said "MOM! There is a man in the backyard of Elyssas house!" Elyssa is our neighbors daughter. But there was a man with a black hooded sweatshirt on with the hood up sneaking around. She then started barking and the man saw that we saw him and he got out of there real fast. Brax just looked out the window and did nothing hahaha so she did great. When I get some pics uploaded I will send one along.

6/15/12: NOTE: There were some "growing pains" introducing the bold Daisy to Braxton, the existing dog in the home... but the owner used all her pack-leader skills and worked it out! The report:

Great news here, Daisy is doing great, absolutely great. I knew she had to adjust and so did Braxton. But now they are best buds. She has realized she can't be the complete boss over him :) and she knows that she doesn't have to fight for food or attention. It took a good week of working with her but after that everything has been great.

She has been fully potty trained for awhile now. She goes to my husband in the middle of the night and puts her nose in his face if she needs to go out hahaha. The kids LOVE her and she LOVES them. Brandon, who is 4, lays with her, and she just licks him and rolls on her tummy - he thinks it's awesome.

She walks better than Braxton on the leash! She walks right by my side, not pulling at all, unless she sees a squirrel. We took a family walk tonight and I pushed a double stroller and had Daisy and she had no problems.

I take her and Braxton once a week to the off leash park. She doesn't like it right now. Dogs sniffing her and all. She runs to me and tucks her body in between my legs to hide. All the ladies thought it was so cute. I can see it's getting better. Last Sunday she didn't hide, just ran around with Braxton.

I couldn't imagine my life without her I just love her so much!
