Wookie and Lily are doing great! Our biggest concerns are getting rid of Wookie's URI and keeping an eye on Thomas when he plays with them. The vet had us increase Wookie's dosage due to her increase in weight and I'll probably be getting some more medicine soon. She has very gradually been getting better though; the sneezing has reduced and although she still wheezes occasionally, the mucus hasn't been collecting externally (she has some pretty incredible man-sized boogers come out with some of her sneezes, though).

I'm poised to toilet train them with the Litter Kwitter Kit, but I have to collect a stool sample from Lily before I start making the transition; the vet thinks she might have worms. We'll see how the toilet training goes once we start. I was very pleased to see how well litter trained they were from the start though; we haven't had a single accident since we got them!

Even their mischief is pretty mild. The worst they did was knock over a houseplant and we're not totally convinced it wasn't Thomas anyway. They've gotten a few squirts from the spray bottle when they go for the curtains, but overall they are very well behaved little girls. Both of them are extremely playful and entertaining!

Lily has really come out of her shell and cracks me up with the wide array of noises she makes. She's always been very vocal, but recently I got her to chatter, growl (at toys, not us), and I wouldn't be surprised if she's trying to talk soon! We were letting them sleep in our bed occasionally, but that's pretty much stopped as they like to play until after midnight, sleep a little while, and start playing again around 4 or 5am.

I'm trying to figure out a good training treat for both of them and, so far, Lily likes all of them and Wookie only likes the wet kitten food. Wookie's disinterest in dry treats may have something to do with her reduced sense of smell from the congestion, though. Anyway, we love our new family members very much and can't imagine our lives without them now! The kitties are a little leary of Thomas (Wookie is the most tolerant of the two), but they are very affectionate toward me and Mary; they even come out and greet us at the door when we come home. Thank you so much for bestowing upon us the gift of the two precious girls and we look forward to providing them with a happy, healthy home and see them live to a ripe old age.

they're doing great! Wookie is definitely the more social & adventurous of the two; we had a bunch of people here & she wanted to meet all of them. We had to stack 2 baby gates just to keep her in the utility room! She can't jump that high, but Wookie was putting her paws in the holes & climbing it like a ladder (where's my camcorder when I need it?). Lily is a little more shy, but she's starting to come out of her shell. We all love them both so very much already! Great job on sending them over litter trained too; not a single accident yet (knock on wood).
