Adopted March 2011 (another Canadian addition to the Forget Me Not family!)
3/30/11:
We can't believe what a great dog Dora is for us. If you have any contact with her former family, please thank them for raising such a sweet girl and let them know how happy she's made us. : )
She LOVES running with us and has very good trail etiquette both on and off leash. (She did find a dead deer to roll in, but a bath took care of that - yuk!) I think her UTI is nearly gone and there have been no more accidents in the house. She has no problem getting into the car now because she realizes it takes her to fun places. And I think she likes to show off how well she can jump in and out of the back.

Just a quick update...
Dora was great on the drive home. No fussing in the car and she even slept
some of the way. We didn't have any problems at the border. An agent took a
quick look at her and her papers and then we were on our way - no extra fees
or anything. She took to Dave right away (and he to her - how could anyone
not??) and we even had a couple of friends drop by last night and she was
fine with them too. No jumping up or anything.
She's had a couple of accidents in the house, but we're getting good at catching her in the act and quickly ushering her outdoors. We have minimal carpet in the house so it's not an issue. I think she's a bit stressed with all the change and bothered with the UTI so we're hoping that a little time (and amoxicillin) will resolve everything. Surprisingly, she didn't have any accidents overnight, which is good.
I have been trying to get pics of her but she doesn't stay still long enough. :)
