Adopted March 2011
1/5/16:
Aiko- whom we adopted almost 5 years ago is so mature and well mannered. Everyone comments on how amazing she is, especially with what a cuddle monster she has become. If you remember she was weary to anyone or anything especially men and boxes and now she love anyone who will pet her and let her lay on them. Boxes are still scary at times but she has to be tough now that there is another dog in the house. She is still one of the fastest moving dogs I have ever seen and built solid with all of her muscles. She is obsessed with laser pointers and shiney objects in general that cast lights, though if the offer for tug-o-war is given she will pull you around the house for days. She is still very much attached to me and doesn’t like to be anywhere where she cannot see me. When we are not at home she sits in my chair and watches TV, no joke loves animal planet (one of the few dogs who see the images clearly). She is still an amazing part of the family and very much loved.
Haru- Just recently had his 1 year birthday and what a large boy he has become. He loves to howl now that I taught him, when he hears (sing your song) from me he lets out a very low wolf like howl that makes me smile. He is such a talker now which is great because I thought he was a mute when we got him. For such a big dog he is a big baby still scared of everything new in the world always with a watchful eye on his most beloved member of the house Aiko. Haru attached to Aiko day one and loves her more than anything. He is a very good dog and knows copious amounts of tricks. We were challenged with his fear and separation anxiety when we got him he pee’d in fear even if we moved too quick. It has got severely better but make sure he pees outside before you play rough with him. He tore up the house a bit but found out he loves his crate and goes in there anytime we are gone and that is his comfort zone. Its next to my chair so he gets to be close to Aiko and hear the TV (Cant see the images on TV like AIKO). He is not a cuddle bear like aiko but when he cuddles they are great! He is all legs and became a majestic large Sheppard that my wife can never get enough of. He is off leash and on leash trained now and takes upwards of 60 commands as long as he is not in big crowds or distracted by AIko.
We are blessed with the two dogs from Forget me not and we love what you do and will always support you.

Aiko is maturing well, though the puppy instincts are still there. With an obsession to laser pointers and destroying rope toys and stuffed animals we are calling her the walking Fatality. She is the most loving and cuddly dog you could ever want. She does not like being at the foot of the bed but prefers to be right between my girlfriend and I. I am always greeted with a wagging tail and a face full of licks when I come home from a long day at work. She loves to go on walks and to find other dogs to play with. She is the best dog I have ever had and though she may be skiddish at times she makes a perfect companion.

I just wanted to inform you that Aiko is fitting in great with our home; she is now potty trained and rings a bell when she needs to go out. She is an extremely cuddly girl and does not like to be away from me at all. Her and Tesa have become good friends and even cuddled together for a few hours last night.
She is the easiest dog to train that i ever had. I will attach some pictures for you. she no longer needs a leash already which is a record for me.
