Look, she still does her prayer hands!!

Acosta and ChiangMai (We call her Mei-Mei now - she is totally a "little sister"!) are settling in well! They're sweet, cuddly and can they purr! Acosta is having some issues with moving pictures (the TV really scares her) but as Jake continues to tease her in with the laser pointer she is slower and slower about leaving the room. She's even been lurking around the far edges now! When the TV is off she is so much more comfortable, and absolutely loves her toys. She's also been a great reading kitty, curling up with me on the bed while I read. Mei-Mei is doing really well, too. I caught some of her "prayer hands" pose with the camera, and just had to send them your way. She is so adorable and cuddly - all you have to do is stay still long enough and she'll be right there with you. I am curious about your nail-cutting recommendations. I don't want to freak them out too soon after the move, but Mei-Mei does this run, jump, and cling thing that's pretty painful - especially when it's your back or thighs she's clinging to with her claws alone! Any suggestions? Thank you so much for everything!

Just wanted to drop you a note! Our girls are absolutely wonderful! Mei is my reading cuddle buddy - if I stop somewhere long enough, she is curled up on my hip, shoulder, or side. If she can't get to/on me on her own, she does her prayer pose until the cuteness overwhelms me and I have to pick her up. Truly a lovey, wonderful kitty. Akasha is much happier as a proximity kitty, but loves getting picked up and cuddled above all else. She delights in finding dark spots to hide, empty boxes, doing gymnastics on the clothes drying rack, and likes to curl with us when we sleep. They are a total delight, and we absolutely adore them!

I wanted to let you know Acosta got over her fear of the TV. The last two nights she has been happy to curl up and purr on us even while watching explosions on Mythbusters! Now if we could only convince Mei-Mei that 3am is not a happy wake-up time!
