Adopter reports that Hazel sleeps on the dad's coat at the foot of their bed. When he gets up in the morning she goes down the hall, pushes open the door to the 11-year-old boy's room, and licks his face to wake him up. She really loves her new home--a good fence, lots of neighborhood dogs in their own yards, and a high porch from which she can observe much of the neighborhood. Loves to ride in their truck, and gets excited when they go to pick up her boy from school.
